  1. I am not sure but it may be possible to leave the drive shafts in the diff but remove them from the wheel hubs. Then move the gearbox to one side complete with drive shafts rather than removing the gearbox fully from the car.
  2. A search came up with http://www.rosenhill.com/C5/TrcCour2015-03-30.pdf: External rear left hand sensor 02Z - FBC6 Internal rear left hand sensor 03Z - FBC7 Internal rear right hand sensor 05Z - FBC9 External rear right hand sensor 04Z - FBC8 outer front RH sensor 0WZ - FBC2 inner front LH sensor 0VZ - FBC1 inner front RH sensor 0XZ - FBC3 outer front LH sensor 0UZ - FBC0 If it is a Chinese Lexia copy these can sometimes mess up the parking sensors requiring them to be reprogrammed. Anyway, it is indicating all the rear parking sensors.
  3. Maybe you have switched it off through a dark/night button or the radio configuration settings.
  4. I think normally you would replace the clutch, its release bearing and the bearing guide tube. If any oil leaks are noticed the relevant seals would be replaced. You would check the flywheel for any wear or damage and also the clutch fork. Citroen's clutch kit includes new screws for the clutch cover so maybe these should also be replaced. For the BVM5 gearbox there are no other bearings on the guide tube. The gearbox input shaft should be greased as follows when the gearbox is put back: 1. ForewordCarry out this operation at every refitting of a manual gearbox or piloted manual gearbox, to enhance the engaging of the gears.ESSENTIAL : Use MOLYCOTE G-RAPID PLUS (aerosol).2. Greasing methodClean the splines of the primary shaft Using a metal brush .Spray a light coat of MOLYCOTE G-RAPID PLUS grease (aerosol) onto the following components :Clutch bearing guide sleeve Splines of the primary shaft Arms of the clutch fork ESSENTIAL : Remove any excess grease from the end of the primary shaft and from the top of the splines Using a clean cloth.
  5. I edited my post after you replied to include the sensor part numbers.
  6. Welcome to the forum. It could be the pressure sensor is faulty and giving a higher value than actual. You would need to check it against a pressure gauge or try another sensor. The gauge should be connected at the sensor position with a T piece so the sensor and gauge readings can be compared. The Citroen service box procedures for checking give: Start the engine.Engage the 1st gear ratio, and start the vehicle.Engage the gears up to 3rd gear.Decelerate to an engine speed of 1500 rpm.Gradually accelerate , The pressure should be the following :1,1 ± 0,05 bars at 2000 rpm1,2 ± 0,05 bars at 3000 rpm If the gauge gives the same pressure as the sensor then there could be a blockage between the turbo and engine such as the doser valve not opening correctly. You could see what values you get first with the sensor. The pressure sensor may be Citroen part no. 19207T to RPO 9701 and 1920GH from RPO 9702 but this should be checked using your car VIN. It looks to be located near the air filter. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-PEUGEOT-2-0-2-2-HDI-INTAKE-PRESSURE-MANIFOLD-SENSOR-GENUINE-NEW-19207T-/262224232639 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OE-Genuine-Citroen-C2-Peugeot-107-207-1-4-HDi-MAP-Pressure-Sensor-1920GH-/141550235851
  7. This problem has appeared again on the forum so now I am a moderator I have been able to change the title a bit and pin it. The link to Darwen Diesels for the parts also still works.
  8. This topic should be of use http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/9041-c5-22-hdi-h-p-diesel-pump-leak-fix/
  9. The OP has not been back to read any of the replies so probably did not need to know the answer or waste our time by asking.
  10. Does it do it at 3000 rpm in any other gear ? If it was limp mode the engine management light would have come on. You might need to check the turbo boost pressure in case it is too high (or the sensor is faulty) and being limited.
  11. Welcome to the forum. If your car is a diesel it could be the particulate filter (dpf) in the exhaust that is blocking up, if it has a dpf. However, it could also be many other causes. It would pay you to use a code reader to see what fault the car has registered, at around £10 to £40 these can be bought for a lot less than the cost of a diagnostic check at a garage eg https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_FXNT200.html
  12. Seems a shame for the insurer to write it off for just a bent wing and some scratches on the bumper. For this many owners would not make a claim unless the car was in an accident with a third party or the car was full of passengers claiming for injuries. Is there any other damage and what quote did the insurer have for the repairs ? I have edited the title to include the car model.
  13. In the handbook for a 7/2011 to 2/2012 Relay, it has on page 154 the interior lights fuse in the passenger side dashboard fuse box still as fuse 32 but only 7.5 amps. In the handbook for 3/2010 to 12/2010 on page 143 the fuse is 10 amps. It does not give much info on changing the fuse other than to remove the bolts and tilt the box to access the fuses. I am not familiar with the Relay but there is a picture on page 8 that appears to show the fuse box could be low down at the left end of the dash. The pictures of the fuse box show the fuses are not numbered in any order and fuse 32 is the one in the middle on the 2010 model and on the 2011 model it is second from the left on the lower row of fuses with 10 fuses.
  14. This topic may help http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/23476-blower-motor-resistor-issues-should-be-an-easy-fix-but-where-is-it/
  15. It could be a problem with the clutch, possibly it is worn or there is oil on the clutch plate but if it is hydraulically operated then changing the fluid and bleeding it may help.
  16. Welcome to the forum. Most likely the fuse for the cab lighting has failed. Possibly a live wire in one of the lights was touched to the bodywork whilst doing the work. I am not sure which year your van is but looking in a handbook for a 2014 model on page 136 it has fuse 32, 10 amp in the passenger's side dash fuse box as being for the cab lighting. If you do not have the handbook you can read/copy/print in sections from here but you may need to select your language first http://service.citroen.com/ddb/
  17. TA is not the traffic master that is on the mark 1 C5 but is just the announcements that are given on the local radio stations.
  18. The following is from the Common Problems topic and may be of use: 44. How to check the suspension spheres. This topic contains useful information from coastline taxis on how to check which sphere is at fault if the suspension is hardhttp://www.citroen-o...ues/#entry83812

    C3 Auto

It probably is preventing the car starting, the second link includes a list of symptoms for P1755 and one is Starting impossible - maybe if the car does not know which gear it is in it prevents it turning over.
  20. With the radio on I usually have TA on when driving since you get traffic announcements with details of local traffic problems from radio stations in the area. The volume of these will be different to normal but can be adjusted whilst an announcement is being given.

    C3 Auto

From the fault code lists on the Petrol Diesel LPG section: P0744 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Intermittent P1755 Intermediate Speed Sensor (ISS) Malfunction - but elsewhere gives P1755 "Clutch actuator fault: Incorrect position in relation to the reference value. Coherence" So it looks as if there are problems with the auto gearbox. These topics suggest it may need a new clutch actuator http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43399 http://c4owners.org/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?194106.0
  22. Welcome to the forum. It should be the life of the car, otherwise what is the point of stop start. At £900 I would see if the existing one can be refurbished unless somebody else is paying. Stop start is supposed to reduce emissions to cut pollution in towns with the added benefit of lowering fuel consumption. In some towns I think you can be fined for not switching off your engine when stationary. So for the motorist the running costs should be reduced but if faced with a large bill every few years this more than offsets reduced fuel costs. The environment cost of making the extra alternators could also be more than the reduced car emissions. Our latest C4 is stop start but fearing higher maintenance costs like this I prefer to have it switched off. I also suspect it may lead to a reduced turbo life since as soon as you stop the car it stops the engine and does not give time for the turbo to slow down before the oil supply is stopped. I have edited the topic title slightly to help when searching.
  23. What year is your car and which engine does it have, just in case you need any help.
  24. You could also try a message to coastline taxis, he does a lot of work on C5s and will probably know what all the wires do and what needs to be checked.
  25. Welcome to the forum. First thing will be to look at the coil spring to see if it has broken - compare it with the one on the other side for the number of complete coils and also that a bit off one end has not broken off. Coil spring failure is common and depending on the age of your car a Citroen dealer may replace them for free, getting the cost back from Citroen. A 2003 car though is probably too old for a free replacement. If it has broken the spring on the other side should also be replaced so a matching pair is used and there will be coloured bands on the springs so you know which type was originally put on the car. If not that then the next possibility could be the bearing at the top of the suspension strut.
