supermarket fuels are cheap because they bulk them up with silicone which isnt good for your engine. Try filling it up with shell v power and a tin of injector cleaner we use fortes just out of choice. see if that makes it any better and get back to us
got c5s with 150k(auto aswell) 240k and and and 300k on the clock all going strong and very very reliable. Have just took a 10 year old relay of the road with 400k on the clock and all been very reliable Chances are that the new one you get will have normal suspension so wont be as comfortable also reliability is linked to maintenance and preventive maintenance.
yes about 8 screws and torxs 1 in door opening handle 2 in door closing handle(handle panelgrip splits in 2 for acsess_ 1 on side of panel next to door lock 1 behind panel next to mirror(black triangular shape plastic just pulls off) remove speaker mesh and theres 3 or 4 holding speaker in and then 2 behind speaker(push bottom of mesh up and pull outwards) if ive remembered corectly and its niether a hard or dirty job
This is the cheapest option so lets start with that Sounds like the central locking motor is in need of some lubricating. remove the door card and squirt the lock mechanismn/central locking motor in fact squirt everything with wd40 you cant damage anything and just keep operating the central locking. Try to get the straw that comes with the wd right into the cenral locking motor
Dont really know why youve got 2 fans just checked our van and its only got 1. Could be a replacement of another vehicle or for air/con. Mind having said that the radiator is massive and could well need 2 fans which would mean that my van has the wrong fan on.If its cool]ing the van ok then id just leave it
Hi anyone got a c8 to sell. mechanical, electrical, suspension, age, milage or interior condition all unimportant. would like good bodywork though. please pm me or text to 07800604498 best regards steve
pull upwards very very very very hard. make sure you dont put your head over the stick to see what is happening because its at this point it will comr of and smack you right in the face. And thats speaking from experience
Is it petrol or diesel and what size engine. It wont rev because its in limp mode and the ecu puts the engine light on to tell you this. You now need to get the car plugged in a theres a hundred and one reasons why it could be on. Youl be wasting your time and money trying to guess so just get a diagnostic done
Is it the one at the top of the dash with the imobiliser light built into it i belive its called a multiline display and you can just plug another one in without the need for any diagnostic and i think weve got a couple of them lyeing around somewhere
what did they plug it in with. The reason im asking that is when plugged in for a pollution fault they wouldnt get fault codes for the suspension as there in diferent systems
ok when youve left the cap off the engine has efectivley run with none or very little oil in it. So start by giving it a full engine service including the air filter and check the breather system and possibly a engine flush and it should be ok as the 2.5 is virtually bombproof engine
