Hi, I have the same problem as described by the original poster. The noise stops if I touch the brakes. Not sure what has caused this, though hopefully its easily fixed. Paul

Hi all, I have just part ex'd my Xsara Picasso to facilitate the purchase of a C3. Its a 2007 1.4 HDI Desire with 60k on the clock - set me back £5300. 100 mile in an know problems, averaging 50mpg on an urban commute (the Picasso gave me 24.6 mpg). Hopefully I won't have many problems. Paul
