Thank you for that Andy I don't really want a new crankshaft pulley - There are two types of pulleys fitted to the 2002 C5's. One has one rubber damper built in and the oher has two rubber dampers built in. My Citroen dealer says I have the former type of pulley and that replacing it with the latter type will fix the problem. The fix is an unpleasant $800 AUD I need a new alternator pulley - not a new alternator as the dealer claims. So that's what I am looking for Valeo CL15 alternator. I have an auto electrician who says that can fit a new pulley and fix the noise problem. Can't get one in Australia but by reading your forum I might be able to get one in the UK if I can find a good UK spare parts website. Thanking you Graham

Gidday from the land Downunder I'm having exactly the same problem with my C5. I need to get a Veleo CL15 pulley to fix the alternator. All Citroen want to do here is sell me a new alternator at around $1800 AUD They say they can't supply the part, and Valeo in Australia can't or won't supply the pulley part either. Does any forum member know of any UK web site where I can order a Valeo Pulley for the alternator? Any assistance would be gratefully received Cheers Graham
