mine (52 xsara 2.0 hdi) does the same thing, there isnt a problem it's just a very sensitive stick, mine was mainly when i pushed down on the stick, i solved the problem by simply changing the way i indcate, by pulling it down rather than pushing. as for your side lights mine doesnt indicate that i have switched them on other than the dials lighting up so again no problem there. hope this helps
