It's ok iv sorted it. I went to see a citroen mechanic and he told me to hold down the trip meter button and turn on the key and it will start counting back up, job done

:( Hi all, i bought my r reg xsara a few months ago from a garage in town. The owner said it had just had a service and all looked well the oil and fillter looked like they had been done so did brake fluid, only thing is i got hold of an owners manuel off ebay and it said about the service warning and i only have 500 miles left which might sound a lot but i drive 200 a week. How dose it need a service again so soon after the last one? How do you reset it as im planing my own service? all help on this clock/servicing would be a grate help

hi aidan i hade the same problem with my ford escort, turns out it was the breather pipe ging from the head to the trottle body. i changed it and it pured like a pussy cat again

hi there i would get it done if its under warranty thats whats its there for and the work they do should have some warranty with it to give you peace of mind

hi dag i would have said it was the breather pipe i had the same problem with my ford escort, i changed the broken pipe and all the iratic idleing and keeping up the revs for fear of stalling stoped
