Hi I have had the same problem as you the block who is John is the owner he is very abusive sexes when I rang all I got was abuse and he said no way on earth would I get my money back (£300) when my wife rang she got the same he doesn't care if you report him to police or trading standards the police are looking in to it and I am try to get my money back from my credit card did you report him to the police if not do it the more people who do the better change he will get nicked I used Barclay card if yours is the same may be they could link the two together I have past an other names to the police if you want email me your details and I do the same that goes to any other that reads this post and has had the same happen to them Longdead kaz2003uk@yahoo.co.uk

Hi I have check the wires best I can over a period of time but I will check again some times when I turn the ignition on the display will flicker then go dead I checked this live wire and it stays live for about 30 seconds then goes dead I agree about the alarm battery because this is what led me to get a new battery do you know where the alarm battery is ? I ask citroen and they did not no I also ask them about the fuel cut of switch they are useless from reading posts I believe my c5 does not actually have a on/off switch but it is connected to the airbag system anyway back to display if I could find the alarm battery I could check it out or replace it do you know if the display works with out radio connected Ta for your help

Hi I have got a c5 hpi exclusive se 2002 I had this problem and my radio would not play cd or change to cd player and the controls on stalk would not work after a time the display would not work at all it seem to me that it had no power any way after months of not working I got a new battery it still did not work then I went away and the car lost all power and would not start called AA who was useless but car would start droved about 60 miles happen again this time the AA man did a diagnostic but had no clue when home for some reason I charge the battery and when I put it back on my display and radio worked car has been in to citroen new pressure pump and fuel value £700 but display is not working again I think some think is draining battery may be the alarm battery because this is why I got new won when the alarm went off for a very short time the battery went dead and the alarm battery did not make much of a sound does any one no where this battery is citroen hasn't clue these are the only problems I have had in 6 year car has 106129 miles Recharge the battery went to get two new tyres and on the way there the display came on all working at the moment very happy chappy
