They will do soon mate got a new semi autobox like the sensodrive thats been added to it in the VTR ranges i think. So can get one of those next time think they come in the 1.6 as well if i remember correctly.

Although the cure for that is keep drinking even when you wake up! Got someone driving me around all week / weekend so im good i dont need to drive for once.

Love taking the piss out of chavs. Personally i think we should put them all on an island in the middle of no where give them random weapons and let nature take its course they will have died out in a few weeks and the rest of us can get on with our lives without the scum who add nothing to society and just drain resources.

Not really probably down to your driving more to be honest. My aircon barely makes any difference in my miles per gallon readout. How you drive will be the biggest cause of it. If your getting close to the redline through most of the gears its gonna kill your fuel accelrating hard in my 1.6 i have seen the readout show as low as 9mpg. Yet when i drive it very economically i can get around 33mpg have had it read 45mpg after a 12 mile trip but was no traffic and i didnt hit any lights and just cruised at 30 in 5th. Since your a new driver though im putting my money on not used to the car properly yet and possibly a little left foot heavy and not making full use of the gearbox. Know my friend was like that when he passed would go through fuel so quickly got in the car with him one day and the way he used the gears the speed he was travelling at still accelrating to red lights etc not surprising he went through fuel. Best tip i can give you is use the higher gears when you can and try never to stop try judging things in the distance so you dont have to slow down much that way keeping your speed up so dont have to waste fuel on accelerating and you will see MPG improvements due to less stopping as well. Aircon makes a small dent but not enough to drop a 1.4 down to 27mpg.

Coupe petrol for me please. Dont see many coupe's on the road but i see a fair amount of 5 doors though.

just depends on the exhaust some are rather loud at those speeds some arent. people that just want performance form a car and have stripped out cars etc dont really a give a crap about noise they just want the best power etc. Why some of the sports exhausts are very loud. But they give the best gains in performance.

No that is a Fart Cannon. best left for nova owners. But most performance exhausts are a bit noisier due to them being less restrictive so your engine performs better more responsive etc. Some people even find there redline goes up slightly.

Glad to be back moving house is hell especially since i moved the computer / tv / stereo etc all out first cause it was easiest i left myself nothign to do for 4 days. Except pack it was so incredibly boring. Especially since most of my friends were busy or in another country as well <_< But hey back got my computer got internet and tv etc etc. Now all i need to do is start moving half this crap thats taking up my living room etc into the attic. Id be up for coming if carts are made for larger people lol. And wales is not that far me and a couple mates did Manchester to Bangor in less than an hour. Most of the time my speedo was reading 3 digits. back when i had my clio though was topped out in 5th most of the way chasing my mate.

Remember my cat bell noise? Its come back apparently was something to do with the exhuast one of the techs had it happen on his own car so will see if he can tell me exactly so I can work out whats wrong. Also getting an occasional knock appearing from the front off side of the car. Guessing possible suspension issue. Will have to find out.

Just go into the aprts department and ask whats needed to put in an aftermarket system and keep the reverse sensors they probably have a part available since citroen themselves usually offer a few aftermarket systems for there cars.

Funny thing after i said no one had contacted me about my brakes on this forum couple days later someone rang me. wonders if they watch the forum.... Anyways due in on friday to get my brakes sorted will ask about this then and also see if they can sort out my tinkling noise which has come back again.

Welcome to the forums mate hope you continue to enjoy your car. And all answers have been given. As said just a diagnositic port can also be used to enable certain functions of the car and also allow remapping of the ecu for a little tuning.

Yellow VtS looks lovely. And the C6 is not the kind of car you wanna throw around its a cruiser something comfortable to drive in on the motorway would gladly have an auto in something like that.

Whenever you type renaul t it says rubbish automaticaly its annoying really just a thing forum is set to. I would take a megane 225 over a VTS i think though given the choice between them. Just a better drivers car. And the 250 could be capable of showing up the VXR and focus which would be nice.

Nothing wrong with there cars. Clio 197 is a cracking car as is the 172/182 and well Renault (Rubbish) (Rubbish) have been making the best hot hatches or some of the best for the last 15+ years. I mean the Clio trophy was LOVED by the press i wanted one myself. And the megane 225 is a seriously capable car. the new megane 250 is launching in the next few months as well. Likely to be the fastest thing on the road. Both cars will easily show a VTS who the better car is round bends, track and basically anywhere. And the build quality isnt bad either. I had a clio for 3 years and had less problems than i have with my C4. They just get slated for problems with there older cars the new ones are MUCH better and the sports branded cars are seriously capable machines. I mean come on a little clio that will hit 60 in 6.3 officially they say 6.9 - 7.1 is a bit of a performance beast to be honest. megane is faster as well. and will be even quicker soon as i said. See i really want a 197 and i love what the megane is capable of i just cant stand the looks gimme renaults know how in handling etc with there engines in a c4 type shell and id have it in a second!

depends if it gives beter performance over a manual then it'll be like the dsg box. the dsg box though is a clever bit of kit just a twin clutch gear box basically so switches between gears incredibly fast much faster than a human can thats including most racing drivers. Seen a test with a few trying in manual golfs to beat the dsg equiped ones non of them did. But hey the paddle shift on a nice engine if its faster than a manual and is better than the sensodrive box would be awesome i would have one them even though i hate auto's. A decent semi auto box is always cool plus would just make the C4 that little bit more interesting on the inside lol.
