if you wanna patch your ipod in maybe have a look at a cheap alpine headunit they can now control all the functions of the ipod direct from the headunit so you can stick the ipod in the glovebox etc out of sight.

Had to use my spare wheel a few times. But if theres no spare wheel there will be one of those emergency kit thingys in its place which will do fine. or run flats.

Can try halfords for an adaptor or a local car audio place there probably your best bet. Try local audio shop first though. not the hell that is halfords.

The boy needs some humility. Get a 2cv. Learn the joys of a low-tech low-power car. I have a 1.2 16v clio 2 facelift at the moment. And its too slow for me. Keep in mind i do take porsches out on the track as part of my degree the slowest car we have is the 5 litre beast of a jag. I dont want a small car. I want a fast car unfortunately at 22 now most insurance companies dont particularly wanna insure me on anything with over 130bhp never mind the 200+bhp cars i was looking at originally. I could afford the car and running costs i just couldnt afford to spend over £7000 a year on insurace alone!

See my dealer was really helpful when i went in. Quite impressed ot be honest normally when i go looking at cars they look at how old i am and think im taking the piss a bit. I might only be 21 but i have always had new cars. Once it gets to 3 years old i get rid of it. Went looking in the fiat garage the guy pretty much thought i was having a laugh so i went to the citroen garage booked a test drive of a C4 came back for the test drive 2 days later and ordered one there and then.

Wouldnt have said the 92bhp C3 is fast. But the 110bhp 1.6 in the C4 is pretty quick round 3 seconds faster to 60 anyways. Just cause its a bigger car wouldnt feel as quick. Know this from driving my little clio which has about the same oomph as your C3 times for everything are pretty much the same. But getting into a 1.8 or a 2 litre car i know is faster it just doesnt feel it since im not in a tiny wee car. I got the 1.6 petrol engine in my C4 though which is gonna be going for a remap so should be putting out around 120-125bhp afterwards hopefully. Should be plenty quick enough then. And indicated speeds are usually well out. My clio is supposed to top out at 106. i have seen it read 115 on the dial and my gps has said i was doing 101.

The extra gear will be helping. Isnt the sensodrive 5 gears the auto will prolly be 4. But most autos are thirsty on fuel and a bit sluggish in comparison to the petrol equivalents. Only a few autos that are better than manuals. Mainly the ones from the VAG group. The new DSG gearbox on the golf gti is supposed to be amazing. Can change gear faster than we could. Resulting in quicker acceleration etc. Who cares if it uses more fuel...you wouldnt have bought a gti if you cared about that to begin with. Some cars you just live with the fuel costs its part of owning the car.

Just ordered a C4 myself. Not a fan of BMW's to be honest. And i have seen more BMW's on the hard shoulder than i have renaults. Renaults and a few other cars get a bad rep but there cheap cars. If BMW's were in the same price area i reckon there would be a lot more complaints about them. Lots of people just dont wanna complain about the cars cause they basically get upset cause they paid more for something thats supposed to be better reliability wise etc and it just isnt that different. My clio is driven hard every day and hasnt skipped a beat in 3 years of ownership. Never had a problem with it apart from 2 airbag lights coming on all you do is flick the engine off turn the passenger side off. And make sure the cable hasnt come loose under the seat. It is just a plug afterall gets loose after a while with vibrations etc. But from most of the reviewers the C4 is said to have amazing build quality one of the best cars citroen have ever made in those terms.

i have driven an Auto 2.0 litre tacuma similar sized car. Not sure on power difference but its not that bad.

Im not an auto fan at all although still drive one regualrly which is my mothers who has had most of both feet amputated she can still drive using the pedals just the clutch foot is completely gone and she also has back problems so has to drive an auto. Great for her. But i would much rather drive a manual. Just gets boring driving an auto i cant find a place for my left arm to go lol. Constantly drive with my hand on the gear stick. Was funny first few times i drove the auto. Coming up to a junction go to push the clutch down to find the brake pedal left foot braking means you stop rather quickly generally. Was not too good. scared the crap outta me learnt my lessons quickly though lol.

Get a locksmith out. Theres always ways into a car. A mate of mine did this to his rover literally all it took was a coathanger. There might be a way that someone knows how to get into the car.

My Renault (Rubbish) has been perfect amazing service from them as well. Anytime i had a problem it was booked in next day and sorted. Same with the brava i had both cars were bought new and were sold after 3 years my clio and brava never had any serious problems with either of them. And most cars rarely keep there value now. Just driving them off the forecourt knocks a couple grand off. The C4 though has got great build quality then again i dont have a problem with my clio i know some people have had terrible clios but mine doesnt even have a rattle after 3 years. Also the xsara's worth a little less than most cars due to its desirability or lack there of. Unfortunately. My clio is still worth £5k and i paid £8k for it. not bad for a 3 year old car to only lose 3 grand.
