    Shudder

Hi Folks I have recently purchased a C5 2.0 HDI VTR model, its a 2005 facelift. I have hads it back to the garage on numerous occasions. First off a fuel leak which new fuel senders were fitted, CURED , then a shudder developed, now this is the BIG problem I have. At 2000 - 2500 revs the car shuuders, it is not thru the steering, well it is slightly but thru the whole car more, I have had the garage fit 4 new matching tyres, the alloys have been sent away and checked, they have fitted 2 new driveshafts, air flow meter, but to no avail, does anyone have any idea what this could be, to me i say its engine but garage say its not as nothing showing on their PC as any faults. Iam getting fed up with this as i drive at 60-65 miles an hour mostly motorway in 6th which as yous know is just over the 2000 revs so have the shudder constant, it does it in any gear at these revs and it does not matter what speed you do, its only when it hits these revs, after these revs the car is fine and pulls well. ALSO i have an issue with fuel, the best i have ever got is 38 to the gallon which i feel is low considering Citroen state 47 to the gallon combined, yes i know all the storys driving habits etc, but i do not go above 65 on motorway driving each day. I feel i canot change into 6th gear until the car is over 60mph which should not be right or is it, if in 6th and it drops below 60 i feel there is no power there if you acceleratate to overtake and have to drop a gear. SAYING THIS do not get me wrong as stated 38 IS THE BEST I HAVE GOT on average i get about 35. I have only had the car about 6 weeks and feel its been in the garage more than ive had it. They cannot find whats causing the shudder and feel they are throwing money at it for no reason, about 2 weeks ago they asked me to take it back and drive it till the shudder got worse, which it has not but is still the same, so its back in AGAIN ysterday to see if they can cure it, they were going to send it to Citroen for the fuel thing but coz i sadi i got 38 to the gallon thay are not and said 38-40 is about right I DONT THINK SO, they have gave me a CIVIC 1.8 petrol which i got 52 to the gallon today. PLEASE SOME ONE GET BACK TO ME WITH ANY IDEAS OF THE SHUDDER AND FUEL ISSUES !!!!!! aS I HAVE SAID THE SHUDDER IS ONLY AT 2000 - 2500 REVS AND MOSTLY 3RD, 4TH, 5TH AND 6TH GEARS AFTER IT GOES THRU THESE REVS THE CAR IS FINE.
