  1. Sorry for the delayed repsonse but after much rumaging around in my shed I found the invoice. the part number is (I think) 653898
  2. It was actually a properly formed adhesive section profiled to the screen edge and 2 to 3 inches along top and bottom. I think from memory it was by 3M but I may be wrong on that. I cleaned up the surface first and it stuck down without any problem and has been there ever since.
  3. Citroen do a "kit" to repair this - a wire and a couple of heat shrink connectors. My local dealer had no idea of this and he was only prepared to look when I gave him a part number I'd managed to find. It was a grand total of about £16 including VAT and took about 40 minutes to fit.
  4. A dog choke chain and a screw driver as leaver make for an excellent filter wrench.
  5. Hello all, my first post as I'm newly registered but have been looking at the site for some time. My car is a 1.6 hdi VTR mkII on an 06 plate. Reason for the post is that my drivers seat seems to have lost its full support. The car has done about 90k and earlier this week the seat started to have a huge a mount of give in it when cornering and braking, specifically the seat adjacent to the seat belt can be pushed down without too much force being applied - passenger seat is rock solid. Took the seat out today and fully expected to find something broken or loose but there is nothing obvious that I can see out of place. Could it be that the coil spring giving the support has just had its day or is there another explanation? Since putting the seat back in I have adjusted the height to lift the seat and this appears to give it more support but still not like before. Any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks
