Just wanted to update for potential help of other users, I removed the pollen filter now & took the blower out, switched round the electrical connections & now all seems fine. The blower was in effect rotating the wrong way! Doh!

This is a problem I have. I have just replaced the resistor which had failed & now even with blower on full speed, nothing from any vents! I tried removing the pollen filter (without putting in a replacement) & still nothing, which makes me wonder is it worth replacing the filter for the same result??? I'd really apreciate any helpful answers as this is the only thing getting me down about the car & at this time of year could be a saftey issue, Thanks.
