Maiden in Distress

Had a strange telepone call in response to a letter sent to the dealer in question, not from the General Manager, but the Workshop Manager who gave 1001 excuses - sounded like a "job's worth". Considering car had broken down less then 100 yards from their showroom the response was appalling " if you want a loan car call Citroen Assist" no empowerment here!

Car repaired and back on the road, injectors replaced. Citroen Assist were really good can't say the same for local Citroen Dealer who suggected that as I didn't buy the car from them they couldn't supply a loan car and "hoped they didn't see me again............... very nice! Supplying Dealer Croxdale Citroen were excellent and keep in touch through the whole episode. Know were I will taking my car in future! :)

First day of using new car, engine fuel warning light illuminated with rough engine running and black fumes from engine compartment. Recovered to Citroen garage. Strong smell of electical shorting from engine compartment, dealer diagnosis is faulty injector. However concerned with other possible damage to electrical componants and catalictic converter.
