  1. Hi, The radio comes out by removing the plastic surround (goes round the two oval switches at each side of the radio also) you can then remove the two torx screws holding the radio in. You may also be able to take the mute from the traffic master unit which is in the top of the glove box? or im not sure if you have the under seat wiring for a cd unit, but maybe there also?
  2. Hi, Happend to me a couple of months ago, it seems that when both rear bulbs are gone, you get the warning message and the rear high level light on (its something to do with the blown elements in the bulbs creating some kind of short back into the system, this doesnt happen all the time, but when the element in the bulbs shorts, it powers the light and the car thinks your breaking and gives the fault) the light only stays on for around 15 minutes when you stop, as it seems to be on the feed that covers accessories in the car that shuts off automatically after a period of time. swap the bulbs for nice new ones and it will go away <_<
  3. check the sensor for the boot, (not sure of its location on a saloon, mine is an estate) it should be similar to the door sensors and be around the edge somewhere, it may have got knocked when getting tyre out. - If the sensor thinks the boot is open the boot light (if fitted) will also stay on and can cause it to go into eco mode.
  4. Had a similar problem on a pug 206, with nokia bluetooth kit, relay in kit had gone faulty and was bringing up the external mute (as though a call was incomming). removed all of the kit from the car and all was fine. (if you need the kit, you can just remove the connection to the radio - not sure which wire it is but one of them is for an external mute, you can then use the kit, but you will have to turn the radio down yourself)
