if I won the lottery I wouldnt have a 360....F430 all the way at the moment although the 599GTB is really growing on me. I would say I should go and do a bank job but most banks dont have that kind of money anyway <_<
that would be the same noise that I get, and the tappets do rattle a bit when it gets hot...they are going to rattle like a bugger when they get some serious mileage on em I reckon
I did see a lot of 06 plated C4's this morning at the dealers....maybe it is only newer ones. Mine did take a bit longer to fire up yesterday but it was like a second instead of straight away...
first of all welcome to the forum!! As far as i know there is no way of disabling that. What us C4 owners when we are polishing is to start the engine for 5 mins or so then tuen it off again and this will cure it for a while. A bit of a faff I know but it is to protect the car...
what where you doing up before 7am you nutter?? that is good of em though to put notes on about your wheels... Mine is in tommorow having new windscreen trim fitted and I will see if they want to cut me a deal on the wheels too
that could be a plan too...I think Nottingham is the best place as it is very central. What do we think then. Quad bikes and mud buggies or karting and pub/hotel for the night so we can have a dizzy waters??
count me in. I'm in nottingham/derby so I am very central... there is a really cool quad biking and mud buggying place just outside nottingham which would make for a good location. There is a massive car park so it would be good for group photos etc...
the reason the deals are so good is because they will be trying to get rid of all the stock they have as the facelift ones will be out in a few months. 4K off is just the start of the offers I reckon, they will be selling them at near enough cost to get rid. If you buy one then you may have an old shape but it will be range topping probably with all the extras boxes ticked for the same price as a new shape basic model...Ford did it with the old shape focus...A guy I work with bought a Ghia X which is the top spec with pretty much every extra you can have such as leather seats and all the usual funky stuff for about £12500. Its worth almost that much now nearly 2 years later...
on a climate control note, I have just recived my copy of Evo and they have a VTS as a long term test car and the climate control has packed up on theirs too, only blows hot air...looks like its not just an isolated incident...
my insurance was £1100...quite enough for 1 year thanks very much. I did get a quote a VTS using this years detials and it was down to £2700 which for the car isnt too bad really and I am looking at about £700 this year which is pretty awesome...
welshguy had 18's on his until he broke them and said the ride was bad but I think that was down to the fact it was lowered. I cant imagine that 18's will compromise ride all that much. You could go go to halfords or somewhere like that and see if they will let you take a wheel outside and put it next to the car so you can see it in the flesh...
