  1. I called them again today, however they're now telling me I need to drive around the whole weekend before it works again. Very weird...
  2. I had my DS3 back today after going in for a new gearbox. Broke down after 8000 miles and was repaired under warranty! Anyway... Since picking the car up the Eco feature isn't working and all I get when I release the clutch is a few flashes of the Eco light but doesn't go into stop mode. Temperature conditions etc have been fine so nothing obvious that would stop this working. Any ideas? I called the dealer to let them know but they said I probably just need to drive it a bit before it works again. I drove 30 miles since getting the car back and still nothing. In addition the biting point seems significantly higher since the gearbox was replaced. No work was done to the clutch, so is there any explanation for this? Thanks Tim
  3. Thanks Paul. It's the trip distance on the speedo that I'm talking about and not the one on the trip computer. Just seems like a weird figure to reset itself on!
  4. Hi, Does anyone know what would cause the trip mileage recorder to reset itself without the reset button being pushed? I bought a brand new DS3 last month and have clocked a total of 1500 miles. I have no need to measure my journeys so haven't hit the reset button yet. Up to a couple of days back the trip recorder was displaying the exact same figure as the total mileage. Upon starting up the car the next time, it was displaying 0. It doesn't really bother me, however I'm interested to know what would cause this in case it is an underlying fault. Many thanks Tim
  5. Update - I think what I was supposed to say is that since my car was dropped off to me the amount of free play in the clutch pedal has increased significantly. Is there anything as part of a routine 20k service that would lead to this? I'm told by Citroen that there shouldn't have been.
  6. Hi, My car had its 20,000 mile service yesterday - 2013 Citroen C1. It was dropped off to my place of work after the work had been completed. As I went to drive home in the evening there was a noticeable difference to the feel of the clutch pedal. It is difficult to explain but the pedal now goes down very easily without offering any resistance until it is very low to the floor, at which point it then feels like it should. Prior to this the clutch pedal would need a little more pressure. I am aware that in some cars having the brake fluid changed can lead to a change in the feel of the clutch pedal, however when I called Citroen they told me that the C1 has a cable clutch, therefore nothing that they did as part of the service would have caused this. I have driven the car for just over 20,000 miles so am fully aware of what it felt like before the car was picked up yesterday compared to what it felt like after being dropped back off to me. Any ideas? Thanks Tim
  7. Hi Paul, Thanks for your reply and for reassuring me this is normal. As it has only just started happening I thought it may have been an issue. Perhaps I am just noticing it a bit more as I am using the air con more than normal in these cold months to clear the windscreen. With regards to the gear change knocking I took the car in a couple of weeks after buying it and the technicians looked at it and came back to say it is common with all citroen C1 models. As I'm taking it to a different dealer for its next service in a few weeks I may bring it up and ask them to double check there are no issues. Thanks again Tim
  8. Hi all, I've got a 2013 Citroen C1 and since day one there has been a knocking noise that comes every time I change gear. I was told this is normal so have learned to put up with this. The issue I have now, however, is that a similar knocking noise occurs whenever I switch the air conditioning on. It only does it as the air con kicks in but doesn't continue while it is on. Any ideas of what it might be? Thanks
