Thanks Paul. I do believe the master wiper is on the driver side. It's the master and passenger side is the slave. I am hoping this will be it cured when I get it changed. I can't complain at the price either as its a brand new valeo motor for £130

does anyone know if my master wiper motor is shot would it stop the passenger side motor working also?

Had car on computer today and it brought up fault that bsi cannot detect the master wiper motor?

Is it worth trying to remove the shunt fuse for 10min?

I'm puzzled. I went out again to try them and nothing again. It seems that the removal and reconnection of the fuse boosts the motors and they work fine?

Ok quick update. Checked fuse. It says 30amp in manual but there is a 40amp fuse in place? I removed the fuse, tried the wipers with a 30amp and nothing. Then when I replaced the 40amp back in there was a small spark and voila they are working again. What could this be?

It's a 2008 c5 tourer 1.6hdi.

Anyone know any known fixes for my c5. My front wipers have decided to stop working. I had them on for about 5 min last night before they started moving but today they will not move at all.

Ok now I've tried something. I used the 2nd key that came with the car and it was the one that was used all the time. It seems to have stopped the judder?

Maybe it's just me being over concerned about it because anyone who has tested it says that's normal to have some shudder. Is it normal? Does anyone else's car do it in reverse and first?

Hi, when I switch my car off sometimes I can hear an " electrical " sound coming from the engine area. This will last for around 30 seconds then stop. What is this? It's a 2008 c5 tourer
