  1. I had a similar problem (drivers door and the rear door behind it were "deadbolted" and stayed locked even when door locks showed red for unlocked). I was able to remove the door card, but couldn't open the door using any of the mechanisms inside. I can share the following: I found I could open the doors from the inside handle during the brief moment between the central locking being locked (by me using the key fob) and then unlocking themselves automatically. This was easier to time with someone else doing the key fob. Then I found two wire broken in the rubber gaiter at the front of the door. I undid the connector and cheerfully got to work on new connections. Walking past my car I made the wonderful decision to close the door to get by a bit easier. Oops. So now in a worse state than I started as the method above would no longer work (no power to door lock). But I was able to hotwire the deadbolt using a small 9v battery and two pins. Not sure I could recommend this with door loom connected, but as mine was disconnected I decided to give it a go. By sticking pin in the orange wire and another pin in the purple wire up near the door lock, and then putting 9v across the pins, I heard the deadbolt actuate. The door then opened with the inside handle. Yay! I put insulating tape around the pin holes.
