Myway Sat Nav

Hi All, the MyWay sat nav in my C5 has a split screen display when it is in Direction Mode(input destination). one half is the map, the other a display of a road and a blue arrow.

 

can any one tell me if i can choose to remove the Road/arrow and have the map showing in the full screen just like it does when its in "Normal" mode

 

i am finding it very dissapointing that the sat nav map screen is only a 3x3 inch display when its directing me somewhere rather that the full 6x4 inch when its not.
