gedhewitt Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 how do I change my xsara 2003 alternator bearing have gone in it and i need a new one Quote
Johndouglas Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 You should get hold of a Haynes manual. It's described in there. Haynes gives the job 3 spanners - 1 spanner easy; 5 spanners difficult. To remove you first need to take off the auxillary belt. Make a drawing of the belt's layout. Without it, you'll never get the belt back on. Also, you'll find there are many different alternators fitted to the Xsaras. It's important that you fit the same model. Quote
