winnie Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Just now and again but not often, I switch of the ignition and the bonnet go's up and down. To stop this I have to re start the car then turn it off again. Is it because I don't remove the key first time round. It has only happened a couple of times. Quote
MikeLane Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 How long have you had this car (I notice the question about relocking) ?The car is probably finding the correct ride height after you've stopped. It does the same after you unlock and sit in the seat. I don't think you need to have put the key in the ignition in this case.Don't worry about it. Quote
winnie Posted September 10, 2016 Author Posted September 10, 2016 Thanks for the reply, for both the post.I was toying with changing the car, I put it in for its MOT and the old girl past so I'll keep it for another year. Quote
coastline taxis Posted September 12, 2016 Posted September 12, 2016 if you leave a slight turn on the front wheels then the front end will rise and fall with the key out. its because of the torsion it applys to to the anti roll bars that the ride height adjuster sits on Quote
