ndna1337 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Hello all. I have a c5 2005 2.0 hdi break and it has already go nearly 180k miles. Althought the ride is still confortable i thin that soon there will be time for me to change the spheres for the hidractive 3 suspension. The original spheres are very expensive and i've seen that monroe also sells those spheres that for the price of an original one i get the 4. So i would like to know if anyone has already tried the monroe spheres and what input can you give me(the ride confort, grip, durability, problems encountered, etc) Thanks in advance. nuno Quote
coastline taxis Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Chances are your still using the original lds fluid at a 180k. Fluid change and greasing the ride height adjuster connector rods is the only service requirements on the suspension other than that it is a as and when needed system. So if it isn't broke than just leave it Quote
Smerflet Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I fitted Monroe spheres to my 1.6 HDi C5 MkII Estate after 120k. I have no other experience of typical C5 ride comfort but, in my assessment, from abysmal, the ride is now superb. Stu Quote
