The Bard Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 My ABS Light never comes on. I have the 1.6 vtr+ on an 08 plate. I have the pod thing that sits on top of dash. How do you get into it to see if there is a bulb?i even disconnected an ABS Sensor but still nothing lights up. All help appreciated. Thanks Quote
paul.h Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 There is a Haynes workshop manual for the C4. It says the instrument panel uses leds for the lights so there are no bulbs to replace. To remove the instrument panel on top of the dash - it says to insert 2 thin screwdrivers into the rear of the panel near the ends to release the 2 outer retaining clips. Then carefully lever the front of the panel nearest the windscreen upwards to release the 3 clips along the front edge. Then pull the panel upwards, release the locking clip on the electrical connector to remove it. Quote

It should illuminate during starting, but not during normal driving. Quote
