Hi,

Today (sunday) the girlfriend's c3 1.4 petrol (07) was running fine up until when after a short trip on start up again it flagged up the dreaded 'anti pollution faulty' message and when into limp mode/misfire... engine sounded like an old VW Beetle and very juddery and down on power. This was soon after she'd given a fairly long blast of the washer jets and I've read these can leak down onto the left-most injector?

Not sure if related but she took a long (300 mile) trip with the car heavily-laden on Saturday and lots of stop-start London traffic, but she had no 'engine overheat' message (who's idea was it to not put a temp gauge on these?!) but I also noticed the coolant level had dropped to the bottom of the expansion tank. No bubbles in the coolant/oil or petrol smell, and no mayo on the oil cap. Got dark so couldn't troubleshoot any more.

I did the timing belt/water pump back in August and it had been running perfectly with no issues/water loss etc until now.

Anyone have similar issues/ideas?

Cheers...
