When we first got our Pluriel, there was no distinction on the dashboard between dipped and main-beam headlights. The same green light came on for both.

But since its last service, the blue main-beam light has started working as it would on any other car.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm curious to know whether it was just a fault with ours, or whether it was part of the set of 'fixes' applied by the dealer.

Never been a problem for me, although the top bar of the petrol gauge sometimes doesn't light. Not sure if this is a sensor fault or a light fault. As its only the top bar it doesn't really bother me at all.

You are not filling the tank enough. I get 50 to 100 miles before the top bar on my petrol gauge goes out, you need to keep filling even after a couple of cut outs on the pump.

The tank is quoted as being 47 litres, the most I have been able to put in is 42 litres. This is from full gauge to no bars and zero max miles left on the trip computer. I am getting between 350 and 400 miles from about 40 litres of petrol. I think Citroen have been on the cautious side with the gauge readings.

Actually, I do think its been completely full when the light has not worked. I always fill it right up, and let it cut out a couple of times and then still keep going to the next full litre to get an extra Morrisons Miles point! :-)

As for the other end when its empty, they are definitely cautious with the gauge. Whenever I borrow a car from the dealer (quite often as my car is always with them) I always make sure I take it back as empty as possible. Each time I try to be a bit more daring. I once did 35 miles after the "15 miles left" had disappeared. Hence I was 20 miles over the range. That was on a standard C3 though, not a Pluriel.

Apologies if any of you borrowed that car after me!!!

My car 1.6 petrol does approx 40 miles to each fuel bar. The most I've had is 50. Does this seem low compared to yours? I do drive my car in auto most of the time though - I get quite lazy when it will do everything for me!!!

The engines seem to become more efficient after they have done 10,000 miles. I know not many Pluriel have reached this yet with the amount of time they spend sitting in workshops.

Up to the 10,000 mile total I was able to just get 350 miles from a tank since 11,000 miles clocked up I have been getting over 350 miles from the same fill up mostly paddle shifiting (I only use auto when sitting in traffic). Used to be 50 miles per bar now closer to 60.

Mine is a 1.6 petrol

The only way to make sure your tank is filled is wait until the foam has settled and keep adding gas until you see it come up on the pipe.

Of course you have to do it by yourself, the gas station employees normally end up spilling half the gas out of the tank and on your rear wing and wheel. :(

I never had a main beam indicator on my Pluriel, it was one of the things I found to be a problem, but looking in the manual I could see no indication that one was a feature. Now I know different, thanks for the thread the information maybe useful to me getting a final resolution over my exchange offer.

Think you will find that it is a legal requirement for a main beam indicator to be fitted.
