Aaah yes me too, sometimes when going along the motorway as well which is a bit disconcerting!

But no, thank you, I already thought of that one and tried it none the less. Its odd, I would imagine it is the control unit since not one of either the front or the rear sensors work.

ive had my parking sensors bleep constantly when reversing, it was down to the car being filthy at the rear. So i cleaned them and they were ok

if thats any help?

Also applies if you get sloppy with the "Back to Black" on the two sensors on the black part of the bumper trim...

Yes it went streaky and left marks in a couple of places...which I have now got out.

No found that with the suds, however I've started to use the AutoGlym Bumper Restorer stuff. Its green looks like you've sneezed everwhere but works and lasts longer than anything else I've used. Also once a layer has built up there is no need to keep re-applying as you just buff it again after the wash and it comes up like new.

As topic reads!! This error has been coming up together with the "Service" lamp - Parking Assistance System Faulty

Unfortunately, I have been unable to shift it, so its booked in at the dealer!!

I am having this problem. Did you ever get it resolved and if so what was the problem?

I'm having the same problem with my C5 Message came up while driving today .I thought front sensors were still working , checked connections to back sensors but nothing works

Do I need to get someone to plug into diagnostic system to tell me which sensor has failed ?
