Rich_Eason Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Anyone know of a good dash cleaning product that doesnt leave that awful high gloss, shiny finish for use on the dash? The stuff I've been using although leaving a nice matt surface tends to be excellent at attracting dust... Quote
ham's c4vts Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 TBH mine gets dusty too, not used anything on dash only on doorcards and other trim and thats Megs trim detailer, but its too glossy for dash. Quote
Welshguy Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I use Turtle Wax and find it not bad, particularly as it doesn't leave too much of a shiney surface. My dash is filthy at the moment though... Quote
Seefour05 Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Thats a good question. Recently I sprayed Halfords window cleaner on the inside of the windscreen and that stained the dash. Little spots over the passenger side. It won't come off which is very annoying. Quote
Stuey Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I dont put anything on the dash, just dust it. Quote
iannez Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 go here mate. http://www.armorall.co.uk/armorallproducts/extra2.html i use the matt finish ones so the dash does not reflect off the windscreen. Quote
xavtia Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I just use one of the pledge dusters for dust and tesco interior wipes for dirty marks Quote
Safety Engineer Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 Tesco floor wipes, just squeeze the excess water? out so they are damp rather than wet, seems to work. And leaves the car smelling fresh when I've finished. Quote

I thought I had seen a Matt product somewhere cheers... I think I might try the floor wipes on the lower half of the door card. As I said before they get grubby where I squeexze into get into the car in the garage. Safety Engineer can you recommend a particular product that compliments the Citroen Air Fresheners? I'd hate for them all to clash ;) :) Quote
