Well, just handed over a deposit for a VTR+ from Citroen Birmingham. I think I got a good deal, 9695 for a 56 reg with 4.5k on the clock and full body kit.

Wasn't amazed by the service, the car wasn't even there when I turned up - despite making an appointment, still - the sales guy bent to my will, so I can't complain too much.

Pick it up on Thursday.

It's got a lot of toys compared to my Leon!

They had two in, both 56 reg, both VTR+, in fact identical miles, identical everything, except one had body kit and one didn't, same price.

I went for the body kit, if only cos I might get a bit more on resale, the girlf thinks it looks a bit chav :-)

Welcome to the boards mate.

Car looks good. See if you can get them to fit the spoiler for you and give it you very cheap if not you can still pick them up ready painted and ready to fit by yourself for £130 takes 30 minutes to fit. But the coupe really does need it in my opinion finishes it off so well.

I got my VTR+ from Citroen Birmingham. They are very good at price matching and doing deals. I found the service dept a bit disorganised but the salesman was very helpful.

As long as you are not in a hurry and can explain any issues you have clearly they seem to be a good dealership.

Pulling onto the outside lane of the dual carriageway as you exit the dealers is always fun too :) a good test of the cars 0-40mph time.

Anybody got any pics of one with a rear spoiler? 130 doesn't sound too bad.

Edit: Actually I found a pic - how do they fit to the car? Any drilling etc required?

None whatsoever - open the boot..remove a few pieces of interior trim...undo a couple of bolts, and replace the standard "lip" with the new spoiler - do up new bolts, replace trim and your done. You then only need to fit the new gas legs (included) to cope with the new weight added to the boot.

Job done :)

Yeah indeed, especially as the carriageway is a tunnel round a bend and then...woomph the dealership exit!

Undecided on the spoiler, think i'll need to see one in the flesh before I decide, and the chances of seeing another VTR on the road appear slim, although I did actually see a C4 yesterday....

3 days til pickup....

They look ok, nice and chunky certainly not some flimsy picnic table riveted to the car. They are pre finished in a nice glossy black and IMHO make the arse end of the Coupe look much better. Without it just seems to be missing something.

Of course at the end of the day it is your car and you are entiled to do what you want to do...

Theres mine with all the bits I have done to it so far.

Picture of moggys car with the spoiler he had his colour coded though. They all come in a metallic black colour out of the box. Its the same black colour as you find on the front windscreen trim at the sides. I also had the colour done on my A and B pillars when i got the side strips colour coded and I think it looks great.

Thanks for all the links, spoiler looks ok in the black, but not sure how the black would look on the silver I have, will think about it a bit more.

Picked up the car this morning. note to self - never ever ever pick up a car on the first registration day, what a nightmare. I ended up abandoning my old car halfway up a kerb.

Drove the C4 to work (about 20 miles) and am happy with it so far. It doesn't actually feel that much quicker than my 110 diesel Leon, but didn't really have chance to fully check this out. I need to read the manual as well to get my head round some of the controls.

CD jumps like a ***oops*** compared to my old multichanger, but it was a CDR in there, so I'll try a decent one.
