Hi,

I've had my 1998 Xantia 2.1TD Exclusive off the road since mid Jan, and started it up yesterday to replace an ABS sensor on a rear wheel. I put the suspension to it's highest setting, and waited til it had risen, then turned the engine off and got down to put the jack underneath. This is when I noticed a puddle of LHM on the ground under the engine bay...

I started the engine up again to see if I could see any dripping with the engine running, and when I looked, LHM was pouring out from the engine bay above the passenger side wheel, and dripping down all the steering linkages.

Is this as serious as it seems? Does anyone have a clue what might be causing this?

I have noticed a distinctive green LHM puddle on top of the reservoir...

I used to own a 1998 2.1 Xantia and this very thing happened to mine. It turned out to be the anti-sink valve leaking. It's about £50 to replace. Remove the battery and you'll see it underneath with five pipes leading into it. To remove it you'll also need to work from below.
