catkins Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Hope someone can help, nothing in Haynes manual. I would like to adjust the headlamp beams of my 03 1.9d blingo. I am aware of the internal adjuster, but this does not raise the beams enough. There is a white nut with allen key hole behind the headlamp, is this the adjuster? I am aware of the requirement to have correctly aligned lamps and any adjustment made will only be within the correct parameters. Thanks in advance, Catkins. Quote
Guest rowls Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 you'll probably find two adjustments on the headlamp. the electric motor will have what looks like a nut on it which i think you can adjust, this one makes the beam higher or lower, the height which the beam can go to will be determined by the adjustment the motor will allow. their will also be a adjuster nut on the lamp itself that adjusts the beam left to right.
