Does anyone have any tips for geeting all the air out of the system when replacing all the coolant on a 2.2 HDI.

I basically disconnected the bottom rad hose and drained and flushed the system today and have refilled it as best I can with red antifreeze/water. I have found the two bleed screws on the top and bottom of the rad and have coolant coming through these now but I dont seem to have got anywhere near as much back in as I drained out.

I only bought the car recently which was "serviced" before I bought it however I today discovered that the power steering reservior was completely empty, the coolant looked like clean water, the oil was slighly over filled and black, also there was no screen wash in it. Im kind of starting to doubt the service stamp that was put in the book!
