Haynes Manual Is On Its Way

I emailed Haynes to see if there were any plans to do a c5 Manual and heres the response. Im surprised its gonna take until September but thats about my MOT time so lets hope its not late!

Lets hope they don't do the same as the Peugeot manual and print a sepparate book for deisel engines!Another £18 in their pocket!

you can register free of charge and download a lot of schematics for your car/engine.

 

If you need something specific and more detailed then you can pay for one hour ( 3 Euro ) or one day ( 10 Euro ) full access and download a lot.

That's great news and a good idea emailing them to ask. I will attempt some basic DIY jobs on my C5 and will probably do more having a Haynes manual to refer to. I like the spanner ratings that tell you the level of experience you need to complete a job so you don't take on too much! Roll on September!

Luc - I have registered for the site but im not getting any free assy diagrams here - its dust showing me accessories and things to buy. All the tech data seems to be subscription only?

Yes it is working, I printed as .pdf a lot of pages and I even pay for subscription to have access and got a lot of service bulletins for C5-II and some doc for FAP.

 

The only problem I had is that images in technical pages are not displayed all the time, but I suspect configuration browser problem, be sure you have JAVA enabled and IMAGES...

Many Thanks - got it now, I dont kow how i missed it!

 

Latest problem is ive noticed my back window doesent wind up and down so it should help me with this. Im hoping its just the clips that go through the window as I can hear the motor going up and down but the window doesent move.

Still no sign of the C5 workshop manual on the Haynes website. Will just have to keep waiting!
