pork_pie Posted April 2, 2003 Posted April 2, 2003 Okay it says 3000 in the book. Its regarding economy. I am averaging around 62 mpg after 8000 miles. Not bad seeing as the average is 66. Will this improve? (YES YES ITS MUCH BETTER THAN A PETROL ENGINE) Even on the motorway I don't get anywhere near the quoted 76 mpg. Pardon the pun but is the engine still (clears throat) tight? Had a saxo and after its first service its mpg went from 26 t0 41 mpg. Kewl. Quote
Tony_T Posted April 2, 2003 Posted April 2, 2003 Based on my last 2 diesels both were well into the thousands, double figures, before I was happy with the mpg on them. Quote
