You have a up/down control on the left for the passenger side and similar on the right for driver's side. Have you got them both set correctly. Temperature for each side should show in the screen.

Hi Bodger. I think you are experiencing a fairly common problem that's been covered in this forum before. I believe it's the plastic gears on the flaps that control the flow of air that have failed and therefore they don't move as directed by the controls. Unfortunately I can't remember the fix for it but if you look back it's certainly been covered in the past year. Sorry it's not much but hope it helps a bit.

Regards

I have exactly the same problem on my 02 C5 2.2 HDi Exclusive, and there are other threads covering this matter, however does anyone know how much it actually costs to fix?

Mine is exactly the same - sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, basically in the summer once ive managed to get it blowing cold I leave the left side on 16 and leave it there, im too scared to turn it up in case it starts to blow hot air out again. Pretty unacceptable on a car thats only done 70k. If I thought I could fix it cheap I would but I just know it will be a three figure sum
