Im wanting to put a phono input in to the radio for playing my mp3's the FM transmitter I currently have is poo! Do I need the function enabling by the dealer to turn to the multi play (as nothing happens at the moment when I press the button) Do I really need to spend out on a connects2 interface lead or will the inputs be enabled so I can plug in the phono input to the rear of the stereo? I await your replys!! (2001 HDI SX) Quote

Randombloke Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Or perhaps I should just trot off to Halfords and buy a new stereo with a MP3 input!! That might be expensive if you want the column controls to continue to work. In the end with my old 406 it was cheaper to get the changer 2nd hand from eBay than to buy a new radio unit plus interface to car controls box. YMMV. Quote
