Guest gs fan Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Well my old C5 has been so well behaved for many months now , but yesterday it made that annoying Peep sound and the screen said " Airbag Fault" . I've had this once or twice more than a year ago , but as soon as I switched it off and restarted it the problem was gone . Now it seems to persist .Wondered if anyone has a fix for this ?? I have looked under "Search" and have seen the Coms 2000 unit mentioned ....... Jack. Quote

Guest gs fan Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Think youve answered your own question there gsCheers for that C/l .. I thought you might have a cheap solution !!! coastline taxis Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Could be worth checking the wires under the seat just in case one of them has come lose. Other than that i would just live with it as the comms unit is not cheap. Ive got four of them sitting on a shelf all with the airbag fault on Quote

paul.h Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 If the airbags do not work would this affect an insurance claim, maybe by a passenger against the driver ? Quote
DaveHerns Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Would it be an MOT failure ? If not then probably not as you could argue the car meets all legal requirements Quote
