Guest Spence54 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Hi,Hope someone has experienced this before and can help. 2001 2.0 HDI auto. Went to drive out of driveway at home last night and could only partially get reverse - had reversed in up hill so was pretty stuffed! Breakdown service came today and located a broken spring in the selector gate. Spring was preventing shifter from moving down the gate. Wife was at home when he called and didn't see how he got access to the spring. Neither did she retain the part broken one! Can be driven now but, obviously, gate is sloppy. Any ideas how to get access to this area and what size is the spring I'll need. Grateful for all advice.Spence Quote
