Guest fimurphy Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 over the cold spell (-15 degrees) the ambient temp sensor on my car started to show such balmy temps as 72 degrees celsius (no did make sure its not on degrees F) since then i have had the passenger mirror assembly replaced with a new sensor the sensor is now showing 42 degrees or thereabouts despite the fact that it has not got much above freezing since the assembly was changed, any ideas? Also the rear window should open independently of the tailgate by pressing the micro switch in the wiper assembly but doesnt not sure if the micro switch knackered and don't have any idea re the fuses as I have no manual. any ideas for either problem. Cant help with the temp sensor but the tailgate glass is a common problem . Normally the switch is knackered or the strip in the window has gone . Plenty of posts about it if you do a search , mines a 2.2 and had my fair share of niggles. Quote
