C5 Estate Rear Wiper

Rear wiper has stopped working, run OK for last 3 years.

I've checked fuse and it is OK ALTHOUGH there is no supply current either side of fuse box terminal.

All the other fuses are OK and have current supply

There was a strong burning smell (rubber/wiring type smell) a few days before I noticed wiper was NG.

Not sure what to check next.

Considering running a fused live supply to non battery (feed out side of fuse) side of fuse terminal..

If issue is broken wire on feed to fuse would this over issue?
