  1. OK clever people i have a problem with my 2003 2.2hdi c5 Driving along the motorway the ESP fault displayed and the car died.No bang or juddering or any other warnings displayed.Car still turns over will not even try to fire up.Also windows have stopped working so has the interior lights, Windscreen wipers and headlights.Connect fault code reader and shows nothing at all.Central locking still works though(small pleasures and all)I've cheched the fuses that i could find and all seems as it should. Any ideas on what is the best course of action next would be great. Thank you Lee
  2. Evening all By any chance does anyone know where I can get a pdf for the handbook for my C5. It's a 2003 mk1 2.2 hdi exclusive. I can get new ones no problem but I cannot find a mk1 copy. Thank you

  4. Hello clever people. Just a small question as to a few things I've had on my 2003 mk1 c5 exclusive. When I indicate to turn left the auto lights decide to turn themselves off(that can be fun). And also the multifunction display button does not work on the wiper stalk. Everything else works as it should. I've read about the BSI reset and wondered if that would do anything. I've already tried disconnecting the battery for then I first noticed the stalk function were not working but have not tried anything since. But must say after over 1000 miles in 3 weeks I still love it to bits. You would struggle to find a better equipped more comfortable car for the money. Any help would be most appreciated.
  5. Thanks for the reply Paul Got a receipt when at 76000 for the dpf filter, I think they must have left it as long as poss. I thought it was the wiper stalk but mine does bugger all. Might be the first thing needing replacing. Blooming helpful forum buy the way people. Thank you
  6. Good morning everyone. Have just had the pleasure of buying a 2003 C5 2.2 HDI Exclusive. It replaces my trusty xsara as a comfy commuter for work. I live in Fareham and work at Goodwood so a 50 mile round trip a day and what a lovely comfy waft in every day. My C5 has 110k miles and a full service up to 106k. A few things I want to sort but touch wood so far no nasty surprises. It could do with a good set of tyres on as all 4 are different budget brands............................And that's it. No doubt a few more things will appear through time but at the moment I love it. One small question with the multifunction display(the one with the green back) can I not got MPG displayed on it or do I need the orange one. If that's the case is it a simple swop over. Thanks in advance Lee
