I took it out & found no obvious problems, I contacted BBA Reman & then sent it to them for repair – they said it needed “virginising†& after refitting would need coding by Citroen. BBA provided a good, quick service but after refitting & towing to Citroen for coding find the same faults remain. Citroen say its likely to need the under-bonnet fuse box replacing but then provided a written quote for the BSi unit (P/N 1609999180 ANC control box ). TBH I don’t think they have a clue & cure by trial & error at my expense?

Further research suggests the under-bonnet fuse box ( 9666700280 ) can cause similar symptoms often due to water ingress but does not need coding if replaced. Any suggestions appreciated – Van runs & drives perfectly.

To be honest its a nice van & only around 61,000 miles.

has a sticker under bonnet saying oil changed couple of k ago nov 2016. was thinking flush change the pick up etc and hope for the best. van very nippy, no play in turbo.

First time posting so be gently with me :-)

It started playing up last week when I it took 4 turns of the key before it made any attempt to start.

All I get now when I try start is a little click.

Had to bump start it to get it home last night.

I did notice a new warning light that comes on for a few seconds.... It looks like a mobile phone.

Can anyone please tell me what the symbol is or what may be wrong with this engine.

I have an 07 1.6HDI dispatch, it has split a steel injector pipe.

It looks a nightmare job to get to the end against the bulkhead.

I have removed the air filter box and I still can not see the fuel rail end of the pipe.

Could you please tell me if I have to remove the engine to do this.

My nearside sliding door handle has popped out at the back and sits slightly proud of the door but still operates.

Any one know how to put it back in position?

Main dealer supposedly fixed this on aquesition but obviously not up to the job.

basically I have the chance of the above a 2003 2 litre hdi dispatch and a spare one.

the main vehicle will run if you bump start it, it will turn on the key but not start. 

the other one is a spares van.

I need a van. 

what would you all say - go for it, leave it,or what price wise.

I think it's cheap enough but I have never worked on a van or a citroen before.

please advise anything that will help

I have a Dispatch 2011 (9 seater) and it has had on going break issue for nearly two year with no resolve, I am from the UK but now live in France

ok so April 2014 my van started making a squealing noise when breaking, i though it was the callipers so took it in to my local garage, when i went to collect it i was told it needed new pads and disc's all round, as soon as i picked it up it started squealing again, so back to the garage, it went back a few times but carried on making the noise, and it increased to squealing after i took my foot off the break peddle,

so i took it to my local Citroen garage, their first reaction was the other garage had put cheap pads and disc's on and they needed to bed in, i tried to tell them it was an issue from before but no luck, a few month later i took it back in and they decided to look at it, they claimed to have found a fault with the connector from the foot peddle to the servo, so replaced this, this still didn't fix it.

in november 2014 i returned to a wedding in the UK and took my van to a Citroen dealer there, they wanted to start replacing the fan belt???????

so took it to a mates garage, he said the breaks were binding but didn't know why, he replaced the hose from the servo, callipers and had to do disk's and pads as they had warped, this seamed to have worked for a while but the started again november 2015 and is getting worse again, with having no luck going to garages not sure where to turn to.

if it is hot day it is worse i am dreading summer time, also not sure if its relevant but a few times the clutch peddle has gone down and stayed down? and the electric window plays up with a mind of its own, i dont think these are related but four garages in i am will to think about any thing.

i would greatly appreciate and help or advice

I have recently bought a 2007 Dispatch 1.6 HDi H2 L2.
Really happy with the van, which will be used for hobbies and DIY.

I have a couple of questions though which I need some assistance on as I cant find any real technical stuff online.

1. How do I remove the passenger seat?
I have a single seat to replace the double, bit when I turn the nut, the whole thing turns. I havent got underneith yet, but assumes it would be a welded bolt?

2. Knocking from OS front.
Sounds like a drop link, as its more a rattly clonking. Are these a weak area of the van?

3. Air feed pipe.
Its missing on mine. I can see it should go from the NS inner arch/wing area, to somewhere under the air intake, but for the life of me I cant see where it should connect.

Have tried increasing temp to outside temp sensor as someone said could be measuring to low so won't engage

Where to start next ?

I failed my MOT yesterday on inoperative rear fog lamps. The lamps have obviously been checked and are ok. There is no light illuminating on the dash when the stalk switch is turned. Yes, I have had the main lights on when trying to do this.

Can anybody point me in the right direction please

I have just bought the van and the power steering does not work,

There was a recall for this 2007 model  due to faults with the PAS. 

Question is how do I find out if mine was recalled and if not is it too late?

• Both fans work fine when connected direct to 12v.
• Both fans earths are sound.
• All 3 relays in pack fixed to slam panel operate as they should, opening and closing with A/C demand.
• There is no 12v supply to the "switched" contacts on any of the relays.
• Supplying the "dead" side of the relays with 12v, causes the fans to operate perfectly, switching on and off with the relays.
• I've also got access to a SnapOn Modis Ultimate, and although I can operate the fans via OBD, just the relays close, no fans actually spin as there is no 12v to the relays.

So, I'm thinking there must be a fuse somewhere that covers the main high current supply to the fans, but where, I cannot fathom. I've downloaded every workshop manual and wiring diagram I can find, but cannot see it..

Anyone got an idea where I should be looking?

This morning my wife tells me that the windscreen wipers are going on my Dispatch van (2012 Enterprise 1000) and both the side lights and main beam lights are on!! The key is safely in my pocket and I didn't leave the lights on!!?? The van started ok and I got to work with no isuses with everything electrically working fine on the vehicle. When I stopped and removed the ignition key, making sure the lights were switched off, I waited a few minutes just to see what would happen and lo and behold the wipers started going and the lights came on again. Weirdly I found out that when I either opened or shut the van door the problem stopped!! Eventually I decide to disconnect the battery for obvious reasons.

Reconnected the battery at home time and van started fine. I've arrived home and when I switched off there was a funny "buzzing" noise coming from the fuse box area under the bonnet? The wiper/light problem is still there ie they keep coming on for no reason!!!

Can anybody explain what's happening here please and/or point me in the right direction to get it sorted??

I am new to the forum and Citreon ownership. I recently purchased a 2010 Citreon Dispatch 1.6 HDI. The radio was working fine, however after switching it off by the switch, it will not switch back on. I have checked the handbook and check the 20amp fuse in the right hand side of the facia. Any ideas on what to check next ? Thanks
