I have electric window niggles on my Xantia 2.0 HDI SX Est v-reg O/S/F Window ok N/S/F Window ok. O/S/R Window only works on the handbrake console switch N/S/R Window occasionally works if I "play with the door switch" or slam the door. I have tried swapping the switches around on the handbrake console I later tried swapping the switches on the rear doors. None of this made any difference. Any ideas? Also are the Mk1 Xantia window switches compatible with my car?

What should the RPM be when I change up a gear in an HDI, to get the best fuel economy?

I have a Xantia 2.0 HDI SX est on a V-reg. Lowest setting on the suspension lever is ok Normal ride height is also ok Intermediate ride height seems to go all the way to the top, e.g. I can't see any difference between the intermediate ride height and the highest setting. Is this anything to worry about ?

Thanks, mine has gone on the passenger side, the other suggestion was possibly removing the inner wheel arch liner I will wait for a sunny day with loads of time before I attempt it :) It's good to know your way works.

Does anyone know how to change the bulb in the front fog lights on a 1999 V? The manual helpfully says take it to a dealer. I have the bulb but I have no idea how to get at the fog light to change the bulb.

I have a Xantia 2.0hdi Estate. I have noticed the High Level brake lamp, and the heated rear window does not work. The bulb looks ok on the brake lamp, and I can hear the heated window relay click (and the light comes on the dash) when I press the button for it. Is there a common place where they may be a faulty connection for both these problems. Any help very much appreciated, thanks.
