Reputable Garage ?

My recently aquired 1.6 hdi desire with 50,000 miles recorded is due for a service. I have used Kwik-fit Althrincham for a number of years for servicing, tyres, and exhausts, and have never had a reason to be dissatisfied with their efficiency, or the quality of their work.

 

Some opinions on the Kwik fit review sites suggest they struggle with problems of a less obvious nature, and that servicing and general repair work can be found cheaper at more traditional garages. Can anyone recommend a reputable garage not too far from Timperley that basically looks after its customers and charge's a fair price for its work, or am I asking for the holy grail of garages ?
