Help! garage/mobile in southend

Hello, 

 

i am currently having some problems with my pic as the immobiliser has developed a fault thus stopping the car from starting. The car is now stuck on my driveway and i need someone to tell me whats wrong with it and how much it will cost too fix it. So far i have been let down by two different mobiles so am getting frustrated. So i have two questions:

 

does anyone know a good mobile mechanic/auto electrician or independent garage in southend area that can help?

 

is this something an independent can do? (one mobile i spoke to said it was a main dealer job)

Hi Lance. How do you fancy upgrading your Pic?  Up here in Dundee we have a 2006 2.0l automatic,44K, one owner. They are asking £3650 for it but i'm sure you could beat them down!!!

I could go with you to interprert the Dundonian lingo!!!!!LOL

Now for the good bit!!---it's Black, just like mine, so the terrible Pic twins could have a wee race along the Carse o Gowrie LOL.

It's only 2 years younger than mine, and the same mileage.  I had a black A30 from new in the 1950s and said "Never again".  It never looked clean.

And I know the history of mine.  Filled the tank yesterday, the first tine since the end of December as we've been away. 21.61mpg. Town work drinks the amber juice. No run longer than 8 miles for a long time.
