Front Brake Pads/Disks

Mine are due soon. £33 for Pads and £32 for Disks (£64). £97 total.

(Most expensive make, and brake system - Bosch parts)

 

Pagid can be had for about 1/3 less.

 

Minus 10% on MOT Items at ECP. (= £87.30)

 

Had a quote from a Citroen dealer for the same parts (Make unknown - OEM ?). Anyone care to hazard a guess how much ??

From experience- it depends on your mileage. The ECP offerings don't look so hot after 10k- and they squeal.

 

My friendly main stealer parts guy is saying that Citroen are trying to make inroads into EPC service parts monopoly, and he can hit the buttons and apply a good discount on genuine parts.

 

I seem to remember that he could get down to around 150 (supply only). A good deal- if your budget can stand it.

 

But you do need to be a bit pushy to get this sort of price.

 

A word of caution- be sure that you are talking genuine. EPC delivery vehicles often seen at Citroen dealership.

Pagid are supposed to be OK, but Eicher squeals (according to google ;) ).  The prices above were for Bosch though.

 

Anyway. Citroen wanted £154.19 +vat  :  Â£254 +vat fitted.
