Guest TrevNotts Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Hi I am attempting to replace the front pads on my C5 and have been told I need to wind back the pistons. Do I have to litterally rotate the pistons into the caliper? Does anyone know how this is done and is it easier to remove the whole caliper then replace and bleed the brakes? The piston has 2 slots opposite each other for the pin on the back of the pads to sit in and a small circular depresion in the middle. Any advice would be welcome. Quote
