For those that might be interested thought I would do a little guide now after spending a good few hours today sorting out my system again and also cleaning the car.

Ok way mine was done in my car is to have the fuse and voltmeter attached to the battery cover.

My cable then goes into the fuse box. And the other one is run down the back of the engine. Reason for it going into the fusebox is because its then got an adaptor to attach it to the battery without the main power cable running straight from the battery.

Just keeps it a bit tidier and stops me having to somehow fit the rather large cable directly to the battery. The cable goes into the car at the other side of the engine and if you can look down enough at the back there should be another cable entering the cabin there.

Then comes in through and under the dash just behind the steering wheel nothign has to be removed to do this just a case of looking under the dash and pulling the bit of carpet down a bit.

Then the just a case of runnign it down the side of the car the plastic runner will pop off if you give it a bit of a tug just clips in the needs to be slide forward a little bit to get it to unclip from the other section at the back.

Should be able to then just run the cable straight through to the boot.

In my case then ran into a fused distribution block again as it needs to the power cable split for both my amps then just a case of running RCA cables which i have run down the same side shouldnt really but has not caused me any problems and was much easier to get it down there didnt mean messing about as i could just run the rca behind the dash from same place as the power cable came in and into the headunit a bit easier.

My crossovers are also taped together and are basically hanging behind the same portion of the dash.

Hope it helps some of you out thinking about pepping up the standard system. Can also explain how to set the amps up properly as most people never seem to set it up right way and just have a crap load of bass that doesnt fit in with the rest of the sound.

{edit} just realise the pictures are rather HUGE! will resize them later.

I should have probably done one for fitting the VTS spoiler as well sure it would have helped a few people and its only a 30 minute job.

Your wiring is fine if you're running a small amp, however for something with a bit of muscle you'd be better off wiring straight to the battery than risk trying to draw too much current down too small a cable - unless you ordered a flame-grilled Wozza :P

Wiring is fine for the amps power think its 4awg or 2awg cant quite remember but only pushing around 800w RMS through it until i upgrade again then will be doing Big 3 and 0awg. But thats if i get the cash together to get an XXX sub or if i drop another SE in instead. I want an XXX though.

Right now though the subs taking around 700w RMS and the speakers have about 70w RMS going to them.

I just got a bit lazy with doing things i have a half assembled sub box in my room that i really need to finish. As the small sealed enclosure for the SE is just not good enough so building a large vented enclosure.

Just dont want to spend anymore on this car really as i may be changing it in the next 12 months. Next car will be getting a monster install though.

2 amps im running is an Alpine T430 think its about 280w RMS according to birth certificate. And the other is a Lanzar Opti series which is 800w RMS @ 1 ohm subs at 1.5 ohm currently.
