2005 C3 XTR Sensodrive Approx 14,000km Can anyone help with similar problem being experienced as follows please? Car had been parked under cover for about 4 hours - tried to start it - initial click from gearbox (as it usually does) - then get a dash on the instrument panel where the current gear is usually displayed - wouldn't start - reset itself after 45 seconds - during the 45 seconds, there was considerable clicking coming from the gearbox, as though it was continually trying to select a gear. I occasionally get a similar problem when selecting 1st or reverse when the car is running and stationary - get the same dash on the instrument panel - can't select a gear - clears after about 45 seconds. Any help greatly appreciated.
