its nice to know that im not the only one who have problems with my C3 1.4 SX. most of us who bother to post on this site seem to have something in common, we bought a dud C3. madman is one of the lucky ones, if he bought a dud C3 he would probably post his complaints. I have a courtesy car while my C3 is in for repair, its the new corsa 1.2. the worse car I driven, very noisy engine, horrible car to drive. I like the C3, its a nice car to drive, the problem is I bought a dud. I had this knocking/rattle, thought it was coming from front suspension but it was the spare wheel. also the backseat fold down backrest didn't lock, this made a lot of noise when on bumpy roads. take out spare wheel with the tool compartment, check backseat lock, then try car. CITROENS ARE RUBBISH.

I have a C3 SX 1.4 petrol, same problem with the engine cutting out. this have happened about five times, done 3.000 miles from new. its very dangerous, I had the engine cut out when turning right, stopped across road. theres other things wrong with car, squeaky brakes, squeaky back spring, wine in gearbox (5th gear), steering got stiffer, rattles coming from everywhere inside, trim keeps falling off, Citroens are junk.
