Hi can anyone tell me if a 04 plate C5 diesel has a cable operated clutch or a hydraulic one , as my other half has brokendown and i am at work ( RAC ) on way . I was told the clutch pedal is stuck in the down position and there was a burning smell. Everyhing else was fine with the car its just that something has let go out of the blue is there a hydraulic cylinder for this type of clutch. Is this a common problem ?? Many thanks for any info its just i am trying to figure out what to do next when i get back home.

My C5 diesel has just clocked up 80000 miles its an 04 model , should it be due an 80000 mile service and would that include a new cambelt ? Thanks

I was just premting in case the radio does 'nt work as i've been told by a garage i may not have a working radio

How do i get a code for my c5 radio as i have had the battery out to change a bulb ?? its a 2.0 hdi on a 04 plate.

Also if i can get the plug off does the retaining clip that holds the bulb in place fall away or is it hinged,thanks again.

I need to change the nearside light bulb but need to remove the battery for access will this mess up the alarm or code central locking etc, and is it still negative first when removing , its a C5 hdi on a 04 plate , thank you.
